Dr.Sateesh is an experienced professor with over 25 years of teaching experience, including 12+ years at the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IITR). He is a Senior Member of both the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). His research areas include CyberSecurity, Cloud Computing, and Pervasive Computing.
He is actively involved in various important services in the field of cybersecurity. He serves as the Communications Sub-group Chair for the IoT Security Workgroup under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY), Government of India.
He has made significant contributions to the academic community as the Founding Faculty Advisor of the ACM IITR Students Chapter and the Treasurer of the IEEE Roorkee Section. Sateesh is also a member of the Board of Studies (BoS) for multiple universities.With regard to his research publications, Sateesh has authored/co-authored numerous papers, including 63 research publications. He has co-authored a book published by Springer and edited eight books, six of which were published by Springer, one by IGI, and one by another publisher. His work has been published in various reputable journals such as IEEE TIFS, IEEE Potentials, and IEEE Access, among others. He has also contributed to over 35 conferences, including prestigious events like IEEE Mobicom, IEEE TrustCom, and IEEE MASS, as well as ICDCN, ISC, and CLUSTER.
